Set in acres of beautiful English countryside, we are a full boarding school with a rich and varied programme of activities every day including at weekends. We offer a wide range of GCSE, A Level, and BTEC subjects and an educational approach that encourages a love of learning and independence of mind.

Our 8 boarding houses - 3 for girls, 4 for boys, and a Junior House for Years 7 & 8 - are real homes where children form lifelong friendships. Escorted school trains provide easy access from York to London / Edinburgh in under 2 hours - and there is a minibus service for day students.
